Imaging the South is one of
Australia's most progressive diagnostic imaging groups. Our Centres provide General Radiography, Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound, MRI and Nuclear Medicine services.
The Imaging the South group (ITS) was founded in 1995 by CEO, Dr Johnny Walker.
The group is
Australia’s youngest diagnostic imaging team and is recognised for innovation, having devoted itself entirely to regional, rural and remote point-of-care for diagnostic imaging services.
At commencement, ITS was operated by a single radiologist, two ultra-sonographers and one typist and accounts clerk. Today, the group employs just under 100 full-time equivalents throughout a network of clinical bases in regional and remote
Western Australia.
